I just returned from another Sesshin in Holland (a 7-day Zen meditation retreat). There were about fifty Dutch participants and four Danes, all meditating together in silence for approximately 10-12 hours each day. The Sesshin was led by the Dutch Zen master Rients Ritskes.
This retreat marked my twentieth anniversary as a student of Zen under the Zen master. Over these years, the journey has been challenging yet filled with numerous profound experiences.
In recognition of my dedication and progress in Zen practice, I was honored with the title of Osho, a designation for an experienced Zen practitioner and teacher. I feel deeply honored and proud to receive this acknowledgment from both Zen Master and the Zen community at zen.nl.
